For families & students

Help that fits your kid, not the other way around.

Tell us the grade, the subject, and when your student is free. We match them with a tutor who knows the material and remembers learning it. Always free, online or in person.

From request to first session.

Send the request

Use the form below. We ask for the grade, the subject, your email, and rough availability. Nothing more.

We reach out

We email you within a few days with a tutor match and a couple of times that could work for both of you.

What parents usually ask.

Is it really free?
Yes. Honors Learning Academy is a student-founded nonprofit pursuing 501(c)(3) status. There is no fee, no membership, and no paid upgrade. Tutoring is a charitable service.
Who are the tutors?
High-achieving high-school and college students we know and approve before they tutor. Many recently took the same classes, so they teach the way the material actually clicks. We vet every tutor before a first session.
Online, in person, or both?
Both. Online sessions work anywhere. In-person sessions happen around Waxhaw and Marvin, North Carolina. You tell us your preference on the request form.
What grades and subjects do you cover?
Kindergarten through 12th grade. Core subjects are math, science, English and writing, and social studies. We also run specialized tracks: computer science, business, pre-med, and pre-law (public speaking and legal literacy).
How soon will we hear back?
Usually within a few days. We email the parent or guardian with a tutor match and a couple of times that could work.
How do you handle our information?
We collect only what we need to make a match and reach you, and we don't sell or share it. If you ever want your information removed, email us and we'll take care of it.

Let's find your student the right tutor.
